The AMS will be starting the new year with a move to a new venue, with the Rubislaw Church centre of the Church of Scotland hosting us.

The decision to move from the Gordon Highlanders Museum was taken by the Committee after careful consideration following feedback we received from club members after we resumed our meetings at the GHM when Covid restrictions were lifted.

Unfortunately the GHM is unable to support our activities in the way they used to before the Covid pandemic, which has meant the available time for our monthly meetings being limited and following their extensive refurbishment programme, not permitting us to have build nights, which was always popular with members.

Although we are moving our meetings from the GHM we still be supporting the museums activities and providing model displays when we can.

The AMS January club night will be on Tuesday, the 10th of January, from 1900 to 2200Hrs.

December's AMS Club meeting will be on the rescheduled date of Tuesday 13th December, 7-9pm (to fit around the requirements of the Gordon Highlanders Museum's busy Christmas schedule).

We'll be running a Falklands War-themed group build until 1st November 2022 (club night).

Any British or Argentinian subject involved in the conflict, regardless of scale, qualifies for entry.

Models can be entered into the competition on the 1st November club night, where prizes will be available.
